Such happy memories of time spent with Christine, all of them in the company of her warm, caring and welcoming presence and surrounded by kindness. Particularly fond memories of a family trip to stay with Roger & Christine at the house in Walkeringham, as shortly after arriving i realised I had left the suitcase of clothes for the week back in South Wales. My Dad tried to convince me I would have to wear some of his clothes for a few days - a devastating thought for a lad about to enter his teenage years! In Christine's warm and welcoming way she assured me everything would be fine. Nothing was too much trouble for Christine as we spent the following days visiting various shops to get me some clothes for the week! I'll be eternally grateful for Christine to introducing me to my first choc-ice one sunny day when staying in Walkeringham (I'm not sure why my parents hadn't done so before) and recall vividly sitting in the garden enjoying the ice cream surrounded by Christine's warm smile and laughter. Our thoughts are with all of the family and Christine's friends at such a sad and difficult time. Owen, Marianne & Grace x
