‘Christine love wake up, Richard's brought a girl home’ : Roger, Xmas ‘93. Within 10 minutes, this beautiful young mother was up and laying out ‘supper...and that was the night I met my future husbands family. A wonderful, devoted warm family with Christine at the very heart of it. A mother in law, a mother, a friend, a wonderful Nanna and a beautiful wife. Just 22 years older than me, I am now the age Christine was when I met her. Some of our best times together have been when Christine and Roger visited us in Australia. Christine cared for us all, meals, washing, chatting, Counselling, drinking, card playing and with so many laughs. She loved to run the house and take care of us all, you could feel her energy and love in the house. We had a silly little joke about how quick the laundry dried in our Aussie heat. I do and will always think of Christine as I put out my laundry- now with sadness and tears but hopefully with a little smile and happy memories in the future. Dearest Christine, so pleased you had all your boys with you to the end - Rest In Peace you will be forever loved. The world just got a little dimmer as you closed those beautiful green eyes
